INGREDIENTS
- 2 tbsp ghee / clarified butter
- 1 tsp cumin/jeera
- 1-star anise
- 1-inch cinnamon / dalchini
- 4 cloves / lavang
- 3 pods cardamom
- 1 bay leaf / tej patta
- 10 cashew / Kaju
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 chilli, slit
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 1 potato/aloo, cube
- 3 tbsp peas / matar
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 10 florets cauliflower / gobi
- 5 beans, chopped
- 12 cubes paneer/cottage cheese
- 2 tbsp coriander, finely
chopped
- 2 tbsp mint/pudina, finely
chopped
- ½ tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup basmati rice, soaked 20
minutes
- 2 cup of water
- 1 tsp lemon juice
INSTRUCTIONS
How
to make Tasty veg pulao recipe at home with step by step:
1. Firstly, in a large Kadai, heat 2 tbsp ghee and
saute 1 tsp cumin, 1 star anise, 1 inch cinnamon, 4 cloves, 3 pods
cardamom, 1 bay leaf, and 10 cashews.
2. Also, saute 1 onion followed by 1 tsp ginger garlic
paste and 2 chilli.
3. Furthermore, add 1 tomato and saute until
tomatoes turn soft and mushy.
4. Next, add 1 potato, 3 tbsp peas, 1 carrot, 10
florets cauliflower and 5 beans. saute for 2 minutes.
5. Add 12 cubes paneer, 2 tbsp coriander, 2 tbsp
mint, ½ tsp garam masala, and 1 tsp salt. saute for a
minute.
6. Furthermore, add 1 cup basmati rice (soaked
for 20 minutes) and saute gently.
7. Now add 2 cup water, 1 tsp lemon juice and
stir well.
8. Cover and pressure cook for 2 whistles or till the
rice gets cooked completely.
9. Finally, serve veg biryani along with onion tomato raita.

Firstly, add Different vegetables to
make pulao recipes more delicious and tasty.

Also, to cook pulao in Kadai, cover
and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked completely.

Additionally, adding (citrus)lemon
juice helps to prepare the rice completely.
